Chromebook General Information
Need Wifi Access?
Lancaster County School District allows students to access Internet on our campuses after 4:30 p.m. The Accessibility Map above shows the area of our campus with sufficient coverage. This area is marked with signs. The access will only work for your child’s LCSD student Chromebook. We hope you will take advantage of this Internet coverage for uploading and downloading assignments. If you have additional questions, please visit your student’s school website and click the Tech Help Desk to reach the school Instructional Technology Coach.

Click the bottom right corner of the Chrome OS desktop.
Select the Settings icon.
Click About Chrome.
Click Check for updates.
To apply the update, click the arrow icon and select Restart to Update.
How to remove a user profile:
Logout of the Chromebook.
Click the on the profile you want to remove.
Click the down arrow next to the profile name.
Click Remove this user.
Click Remove this user again.
By 12:00PM (noon) on Saturday, August 29, 2020, all students should have received invitations to join Google Classrooms for seven classes (six classes and one homeroom.) These invitations were sent to your child’s School Gmail account (email@example.com). Please have your child accept the invitations for ALL classes including their homeroom and exploratory.
On Monday and Tuesday, Track C students will log on to their homeroom Google Classroom at 8:40AM and click on the “Google Meet Link” at the top of the Google Classroom page.
On Thursday and Friday, Track D students will log on to their homeroom Google Classroom at 8:40AM and click on the “Google Meet Link” at the top of the Google Classroom page.
All students, no matter the track, should log into their Google Classrooms daily for all assignments and updates.
