What a wonderful way to end the month of February and Black History Month! Our students and staff did awesome with all dances, songs, and speeches! A shout out to Ione Rucker Jamison, granddaughter of AR Rucker, who came to speak today! She gave us many words of wisdom to live by and leave our legacy. A shout-out to the Black History Month committee and our great Admin team for all the support the entire month!

For Black History month, our committee has worked hard to showcase the many important achievements of various African Americans .
Our students have enjoyed learning about black historians for the past few weeks through trivia. The students have showed an “ all in “ attitude by answering the trivia questions each day. We are proud of our winners!!!!!!

Students from AR Rucker participated in the Read-In today. We visited the York County Museum and visited the planetarium after reading the book , " Where the Sky Lives" by Margaret Dilloway . The students had a blast !
